Case Studies

What ARIO deployment looks like for your property type.

ARIO is deployed across independent hotels and boutique groups throughout the UK and EU — properties running Opera Cloud, Mews, Cloudbeds, and Apaleo, from single-property independents to multi-site portfolios.

Deployment profiles

Designed for your property type

ARIO is built for UK and EU independent hotels and boutique groups running Opera Cloud, Mews, Cloudbeds, Apaleo, and other modern PMS platforms. These profiles illustrate how ARIO configures and operates across different property types and operating models.

ARIO deploys where revenue discipline is non-negotiable.

ARIO is engineered to institutional standard — the same class of forecasting methodology, audit architecture, and distribution controls as enterprise RMS vendors. Deployed for independent hotels and boutique groups that operate to the same level of rigour. How we work

The ARIO deployment methodology

Every ARIO engagement follows the same three-phase structure. No property goes to live rate pushing until both the Revenue Manager and ARIO have independently signed off on readiness.

01
Weeks 1–2

Shadow mode — observe without acting

ARIO connects to your PMS, loads your historical data, and begins generating recommendations in real time. Nothing goes live. The Decision Journal logs every pricing decision the system would have made — source, model weights, confidence score, reasoning in plain language. The Revenue Manager reviews the journal daily. No rate changes until the RM is satisfied the system understands the property.

02
Weeks 3–6

Review mode — human-approved rate pushes

After a formal Shadow Review meeting — where ARIO and the RM go through the past two weeks of decisions together — the system moves to Review mode. Recommendations queue for RM approval each morning. The RM approves or rejects each push individually. Approved changes transmit to the channel manager and are confirmed via read-back. No push is treated as successful until the OTA reflects the change.

03
Day 30+

Autopilot — within your defined guardrails

After 30 days of real data and a documented RM sign-off, the system may advance to Autopilot — fully autonomous pricing within rate floors, ceilings, and stability thresholds the hotel controls. A kill switch stops all outbound activity within 45 seconds, accessible from the ARIO dashboard at any time. Autopilot is not the goal; it is the outcome of earned trust.

What to expect

Your first 90 days

A specific, honest account of what happens at each stage of an ARIO deployment. No vague "onboarding process" — actual milestones with actual deliverables.

Day 1–3

Data connection and baseline

PMS integration activated (Opera Cloud, Mews, Cloudbeds, or file upload). Historical reservation data loaded — minimum 90 days, ideally 24 months. Rate floors and ceilings configured per room type. Comp-set defined. Founding RM account created with full Decision Journal access.

PMS connected Historical data loaded Guardrails configured
Day 4–14

Shadow mode running — first review

ARIO generates recommendations for every date in the forward 90-day window. The RM reviews the Decision Journal daily. ARIO's Implementation Manager checks in on Days 7 and 14. On Day 14: a formal Shadow Review call where RM and ARIO review a sample of 8–10 decisions together. Agreement rate is measured. If above 70%, Review mode is proposed. If below, ARIO calibrates and extends Shadow by one week.

14 days of Decision Journal Shadow Review call completed Agreement rate documented
Day 15–45

Review mode — first live rate pushes

Rate recommendations queue each morning. The RM actions the approval queue (typically 5–10 minutes daily). Each approved push transmits to the channel manager and is confirmed by read-back. Weekly performance call with ARIO reviewing RevPAR trend, approval rate, and any incidents. Any rate push that deviates from expected output is investigated same-day.

Month 2–3

Stabilisation — performance review and commercial decision

30 days of Review mode data provides a first performance baseline against your pre-ARIO history. ARIO produces a Pilot Review Report: Decision Journal accuracy, rate push volume, override rate, and revenue comparison against the equivalent prior period. This report is the basis for the commercial decision. If you don't see value, we won't ask you to sign a contract.
